Dr. Kilgus graduated with a B.S. in Public Health in 2008 and went on to receive his Doctorate in 2012 from the University of South Carolina. After a successful stint at a regional health system in inpatient and outpatient services as Director, he founded his own outpatient rehabilitation company. After 8 years and growing thru the pandemic he led the company to a M&A with large private equity company.

After the acquisition Dr. Kilgus decided to stay on and worked as Director of Operations focusing on operation efficiencies, performance improvement and integration. Dr. Kilgus was responsible for P&L’s of clinics as well as overall quality.

Over the course of his stint as CEO and founder of his own company Dr. Kilgus found himself regularly advising other entrepreneurs in RCM, valuations, compliance, contracting/credentialing as well as operational improvement. This is where his passion for consulting came into play.

Christopher currently sits as the Manager and Senior Consultant for a small 15 person firm. His duties have ranged from leading associates to fulfill projects for MSO’s, hospital groups, and specialty practice. His strongest attribute is using his unique career path as clinician and entrepreneur to connect with clients and improve healthcare operations across clinical operations, scheduling, and compensation across fee for service and value based care models. Dr. Kilgus is well versed in Powerbi for KPI tracking and benchmarking. His career goal is to be seen as more than just a clinician but also a well respected leader in healthcare transformation and revenue generation for start ups and established health care groups.
